ACBES Lecture for PhD Student (August 3, 2026)

This track is designed for PhD students who are developing their research papers and seek constructive academic feedback in a scholarly setting.

The ACBES Lecture for PhD Students will take place on August 3, 2026. We strongly encourage PhD candidates to submit to this track and present on this dedicated day. While submission on August 4 may be possible in certain cases, the final allocation decision rests with the Conference Organizing Committee.

The objective of this session is developmental: to refine research design, theoretical framing, and methodological rigor prior to journal submission.

Conference (For Regular Author) (August 4, 2026)

This track is intended for high-quality, mature research with strong theoretical foundations, rigorous methodology, and clear policy or managerial implications.

Presentations under this track will be scheduled on August 4, 2026.

ACBES 2026 prioritizes frontier topics, deep analytical contributions, and research that advances scholarly debate in economics, finance, business, and public policy. Submissions should demonstrate originality, clarity of contribution, and relevance to contemporary regional and global challenges.

Journal + Conference (For Regular Author) (August 4, 2026)

This track follows the same presentation format as the regular Conference session but is designed for authors who intend to submit their full manuscript for consideration at the Journal of Asian Business and Economic Studies (JABES).

Authors will present at ACBES on August 4, 2026 and may subsequently submit their manuscript to JABES. However:

  • Selection for conference presentation does not imply acceptance for publication.

  • All manuscripts submitted to JABES will undergo the journal’s independent double-blind peer review process.

  • Editorial decisions will be made solely by the journal’s editorial team in accordance with JABES standards.

This track offers authors the opportunity to receive early scholarly feedback while maintaining the integrity and academic rigor of the journal’s review process.
